Peppermint Sparkle Snow


Peppermint Sparkle Snow Sensory Bin

Ingredients:

Plastic bin

2 16oz. boxes of corn starch

1 can of shaving cream

Peppermint extract

Buffalo Snow Iridescent flakes (We were able to find these at Walmart & Hobby Lobby.)


Directions:

  1. Empty the corn starch into a large bowl or plastic container.

  2. Add the shaving cream and mix. This part gets a little messy, but that is part of the fun!

  3. Add in the peppermint extract. Peppermint extract has a strong scent, but many kids find it very organizing, so let them help you figure our the right amount.

  4. Now it's time for the "sparkle" part. Add in as much of the Buffalo Snow Iridescent flakes as you would like. You don't need the whole bag, but add them in until you get the right amount of sparkle.

This bin can get messy, but cornstarch vacuums and wipes up easily.
